JUDITH VERGARA GARCIA

(born in 1986)

Judith Vergara Garcia is a Peruvian artist. She lives and works in Lima.

Hyper-realism has been explored for centuries. Many have the technical skills.

Judith stands out with her soft and delicate touch, and her poetic, surrealistic and philosophical symbolism reflecting the vulnerability of women facing an inescapable time line.

With an inexhaustible imagination, Judith Vergara Garcia transcribes women dreams, hopes, and fears in beautiful paintings.

Beyond the exceptional mastery of her art, Judith Vergara Garcia invites us to a new way of seeing hyper-realistic paintings.

Delirium

oil on canvas - 27.2 x 51.4 in (63 x 130.5 cm)

" This painting is the presentation of a woman who falls into a deep sleep due to her delusions "dreams," "desires," and "longings." She finds herself in the middle of a forest surrounded by white butterflies that symbolize purity and fragility. Butterflies are very beautiful animals but they are very fragile, they can die instantaneously if you touch them or try to approach them in an inadequate way.

The metal accessory contains an incense that perfumes the forest making the dream permanent. " - Judith Vergara Garcia
