NINA TESCAR

Nina Tescar is a multi-awarded artist. She has been the winner of numerous trophies in major art exhibitions. Her works' value has been certfied and published by international experts.

"Observers and art commentators constantly highlight the technique of this artist native of Moldavia. The exclusive use of ink with its implication of vulnerability for the artist in the face of error is a fact that seduces and fascinates by its fatal character. The ink does not tolerate any repentance and, on such substantial masses of work,  imposes, to complete a work, absolute self-control able to subjugate the imaginary. But what makes the strength of Nina Tescar is her visual universe unique and irremediably gripping. Steeped in old Flemish schools, she deploys on her assemblages of paper a universe where metamorphosis and annihilation intertwine without the possibility of being dissociated in an inexorable cycle. There is something strangely mythological in her work, reactivating the oldest memories buried in the memory of man, of time when some demiurge worked without restraint in the face of the world, and where the most divine wonders rubbed shoulders with the most frightening terrors."
