Anik Legoupil is a French artist living and working in France.

From long travels in the Far East and especially in Japan, Anik Legoupil has developed a fascination for paper.

Her style is unique. She makes papers, let them dry for months so they take various shapes and textures. Then, she glues the papers on canvas, and paint. Finally she weaves a net of cotton threads that symbolize initially the sieve used in paper making, but more a screen through which a wonderful world appears.
